The Old Man and the Nightmare Eaters

With Barcelona as a platform, this documentary explores the life and creation of four young artists from different parts of the world: A Japanese painter, an Argentinean singer, a Colombian sculptor and a Guinean Bissau musician.

These four artists lead parallel lives with all the consequences of a fulfilled artist’s life without luxury, constantly challenged, lonely and melancholic in a foreign country. These experiences and feelings form their artistic expressions. Listening to their most profound inner selves will lead each of them to walk their own path towards self-realization.

A Unique World

There is not a first world, nor a third, nor only a world of vegetacion or only of of men and women, nor only of justice or injustice or hunger or opulence.....

We all live in the same world, a unique world made of water and air, of rock and living beings, of earth, trees, cultures, experiences, stories and emocion. A world of words, of memories, images, continents, a world of countries in which all living beings form part of a unique marvellous place.

We want to tell the stories of this world, be a voice and give space to other voices.
